Is Furnished Finder worth it for landlords and hosts renting furnished homes and rooms?
Furnished Finder charges a flat yearly listing fee instead of a cut of rent, and tenants pay you directly. That suits rentals of 30 days or more, and it suits you less if you want the platform to collect, guarantee or insure your rent.
Furnished Finder makes sense if
You rent homes or rooms for 30 days or more
You would rather pay one flat yearly fee than a cut of each booking
Choose another platform if
You rent for stays shorter than 30 days
You want the platform to guarantee your rent
You want the platform to provide insurance
You can't risk losing a paid subscription if the account ends
How much Furnished Finder takes from your rent
Furnished Finder says it takes no commission, booking fees or service charges. Instead you pay a yearly subscription for each listing: $199 since January 2, 2026, a $20 increase. Its 2026 pricing FAQ describes a $20 rise for listings in 2026. You pay at sign-up, before ID verification, and the subscription auto-renews. The listing terms (last revised June 7, 2024) say all fees are non-refundable, including when verification can't be completed, so you carry that risk if the ID check fails. If you list a hotel or full apartment complex, that price changes on Oct 27, 2026.

How and when you get paid on Furnished Finder
Furnished Finder doesn't pay you. Its help center says it doesn't process rent and tenants pay landlords directly, and its Terms of Use (updated Oct 15, 2026) say it doesn't hold or guarantee payments. Many landlords collect rent through Baselane or Stripe via KeyCheck, so how fast money reaches your bank depends on that tool. Furnished Finder's blog post on Baselane rent payments says Furnished Finder customers get a free one-year Baselane Smart subscription, which shortens the payout wait. The same post lists a tenant fee on credit card payments through Baselane. Furnished Finder doesn't publish a payout minimum or payout fee of its own.

How much you can make on Furnished Finder
Figures Furnished Finder publishes
Furnished Finder says the average rental rate on its site is about $2,000 a month, and says that figure is not room-specific. It is a rent figure from the platform, not what a landlord keeps after costs. Furnished Finder doesn't publish landlord income, occupancy or the share of listings that get booked, and no independent source measures them for the platform. Furnished Finder says monthly rentals are typically priced below short-term rental rates and that pricing varies by market. The 117% growth in booking inquiries and the 102-day average stay are also Furnished Finder's own claims, so they show demand it reports, not income you can expect.
Can Furnished Finder deactivate your account?
Yes, and it doesn't have to give a reason. The Terms of Use say Furnished Finder can terminate accounts with or without cause or notice. The listing terms (June 7, 2024) add that it may suspend and remove a listing if you leave availability unset for 90 days. They also require a traveler rating at or above a minimum that Furnished Finder sets, doesn't state and can change. Termination for breach comes with no refund. Neither set of terms describes an appeal process.
Renewal needs care. The listing terms say auto-renewal must be turned off in your account before the term ends, and email or voicemail requests don't count. The subscription stays active until the paid term ends, and it renews at the then-current non-promotional rate.
Several things aren't covered. Furnished Finder provides no insurance, so you carry your own. It isn't a party to rental agreements, doesn't mediate disputes, and isn't responsible for non-payment, chargebacks or fraud. You are responsible for screening travelers. Deposits are set by each landlord. Optional tenant screening is run by TransUnion, and the prospective tenant pays for it. Furnished Finder may also remove, restrict or ignore reviews at its sole discretion.
