What VendorsMap costs sellers
Browsing, messaging organizers and applying cost nothing, and VendorsMap charges no per-application fee of its own. Your real cost is each event's booth fee, plus any application fee the organizer sets. Across upcoming U.S. events that state a fee, VendorsMap listings show a median booth fee of $65, with the middle half paying $35 to $150. Only about 8% of listings state a fee at all, and organizers enter those figures themselves.
VendorsMap fees
- VendorsMap keeps

- Cost to apply
Membership adds early alerts, an application library and scam protection. Browsing and applying need no membership.
Optional Membership: $45/yr or $15/mo
Adds early alerts and Scam Protection, with auto-apply tools; free use still works.
Launch price $39.99 rose to $45
Members keep the price they joined at, per the Membership announcement.
Membership is optional. It puts your applications at the top of organizers' queues, sends new-market alerts about a day early and adds auto-apply tools. VendorsMap says members get into more markets but publishes no figures to show it. Members also get Scam Protection, which reimburses up to $500 per claim and $1,000 a year if you file within 90 days. It doesn't cover slow sales, bad weather, or anyone who wasn't a member when they paid.
How booth fees are paid on VendorsMap
VendorsMap doesn't pay vendors for booths. You pay each booth fee on VendorsMap, and it goes to the organizer through Stripe. The terms, updated Oct 10, 2026, say refunds are the organizer's to give, through the platform, and organizers must refund you if they cancel or change the date, location or fee. An older trust and safety page (April 2026) says VendorsMap itself refunds platform payments for canceled or fraudulent events within 5 business days. Organizers can add their own refund and no-show terms, which you accept when you apply. VendorsMap publishes no standard refund for a vendor who withdraws, and fees paid outside VendorsMap have to be settled with the organizer.

How to get approved on VendorsMap
Organizers choose their vendors. Some events take applications on VendorsMap; others link to the organizer's own form. VendorsMap says it reviews every event before it goes live and rejects those without a verifiable organizer, address or date, but it doesn't guarantee that event details are accurate.
Its terms bar organizers from taking your application on VendorsMap and then asking for a booth fee or deposit by Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or another outside transfer, which VendorsMap calls the most common scam it sees. See how to spot side-hustle scams.
VendorsMap requirements
- ID and documents
Some events ask for a certificate of insurance, business license or health permit.
- Also required
Applying doesn't guarantee acceptance
Organizers have full discretion over which vendors they accept.
VendorsMap questions
VendorsMap is run by VendorsMap LLC, a Connecticut company that started as a New England market directory and now lists events across the U.S. and Canada. Its terms say it isn't a party to any agreement between you and an organizer, so a dispute over a booth is with the organizer.
On the web, go to your dashboard, then Settings, then Manage Membership. Access continues to the end of the paid period. If you subscribed through the iPhone or Android app, cancel in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel before deleting your account, which is immediate and self-serve.
