Alignerr's payment FAQ says projects bill per hour, per task or per task per turn, and that reviewers are paid hourly. Pay-per-accepted-task projects pay only for tasks that pass quality review, and your earnings tab updates only after a payment is fully processed.
Pay runs weekly: each billing week runs Monday to Sunday, and payment arrives by the following Friday. Alignerr names Stripe Connect and PayPal as its payment partners, depending on your location. Workers hired through Upwork are paid through Upwork instead.

Alignerr requirements and how long approval takes
Some projects add a Zara AI interview or a domain assessment, and Alignerr doesn't say whether you can retake one. Its community rules prohibit gaming assessment exams and duplicate accounts.
The terms, dated Sep 11, 2025, say Alignerr has no obligation to admit an applicant or to pay for the AI interview. They also say applicants grant broad perpetual rights to their recorded interview and likeness. Approval comes before contract signing, and Alignerr states no number of days for it.

The average-pay figure is a marketing claim, and Alignerr doesn't publish the sample, date or hours behind it. The top rate is a marketing ceiling, not a typical rate. A listed rate applies to paid project time only, so it isn't a monthly income. Alignerr says it hires more than 1,000 people weekly and has a network of over 100,000 experts, and these are unverified marketing figures.
The jobs page lists 5,681 open roles. That count includes location-specific and non-U.S. variants of the same role, and Alignerr doesn't say how many are U.S. openings or how many contributors each role takes. Can Alignerr deactivate your account?
Alignerr's terms let it suspend or terminate an account for any reason at its discretion, and it alone decides whether the terms were violated. The terms describe no appeal process. Is Alignerr legit?
The contracting entity in the terms is ALIGNERR LLC. Alignerr's site is branded as powered by Labelbox, and most projects use the Labelbox platform, but the site doesn't say how the two companies are legally related. Labelbox says it raised a Series E of more than $100M at a $1.25B pre-money valuation in Oct 2026. The terms also limit your ability to sue in court.
